This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Ensure the timely and successful delivery of extensive and intricate Professional Services implementations.
• Identify critical priorities, formulate execution strategies, and collaborate across the organization to achieve successful outcomes.
• Oversee projects from inception to conclusion utilizing standard project management methodologies.
• Lead the planning and budgeting processes for projects.
• Mobilize and guide cross-functional project teams through their workstreams.
• Advocate for Statements of Work and transform scope modifications into change orders.
• Ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
• Monitor project progress, variability, risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies, and overall project health metrics.
• Create and implement risk-mitigation strategies following established escalation procedures.
• Conduct weekly budget-burn reviews and report on delivery and Service Level Agreement (SLA) metrics.
• Manage projects in Jira using standard implementation templates.
• Maintain comprehensive customer project records, dashboards, saved filters, environments, contacts, configuration decisions, go-live checklists, and retrospective notes.
• Provide requirements for Jira, GitHub, and configuration-repository integration.
• Oversee go-live readiness evaluations and ensure proper handoffs to Customer Success and Support.
• Facilitate lessons-learned reviews and enhance the implementation playbook.
• Act as the primary point of escalation for projects and support executive steering committees.
• Monitor customer-side dependencies and escalate issues related to unresponsiveness or obstructed configuration decisions.
• Lead collaboration among Consultants, Architects, PMO, Cloud Operations, Product, Support, and Partners.
• Coordinate dependency mapping, milestone alignment, and shared-risk visibility for joint Civic Platform and ePermitHub initiatives.
• Assist in new-business growth, proposal development, and budget estimation.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience leading successful implementations of COTS software/platform-based solutions for Tier-1 government clients, or demonstrable experience navigating slow, committee-driven stakeholder groups.
• At least 5 years of experience managing projects with budgets exceeding $1M, durations of 12+ months, and involvement from multiple government departments or groups.
• Demonstrated capability to handle multiple complex projects at different delivery stages.
• Comfortable taking ownership of budget and burn rates, and engaging in scope discussions directly with customers.
• Ability to understand and apply new technologies and methodologies effectively.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or a related technical degree program.
• Proficient in formal project management tools such as MS-Project and Visio.
• Working knowledge of Jira and Confluence, including the ability to build boards, dashboards, and saved filters.
• Strong technical foundation and prior experience in delivering enterprise-class software.
• Technical proficiency to interpret a configuration repository and workflow diagram independently.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in managing technical and project management challenges.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to juggle competing client demands.
• Capable of interacting and communicating with CxO-level personnel effectively.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
