Senior Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Peru.

📋 Description

• Oversee the comprehensive delivery of a mobile e-commerce platform set to launch with clients throughout Latin America.

• Act as the main point of contact between clients, business stakeholders, leadership teams, and software development teams.

• Cultivate a thorough understanding of the application's features, user workflows, business use cases, and integrations.

• Articulate product capabilities, advantages, and value propositions to clients and stakeholders.

• Manage project timelines, deliverables, milestones, dependencies, and priorities across various workstreams.

• Facilitate decision-making while balancing competing priorities and functional trade-offs.

• Align leadership expectations and foster consensus among stakeholders with diverse viewpoints.

• Identify, evaluate, and proactively communicate project risks, issues, and mitigation strategies.

• Drive delivery excellence while keeping a focus on the long-term product vision and business objectives.

• Collaborate with engineering, product, and customer-facing teams to ensure successful implementation and adoption.

• Track project health and provide regular status updates, reports, and executive-level communications.

• Assist in customer onboarding, implementation activities, and ongoing relationship management.

• Promote accountability, transparency, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

• Ensure effective execution in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• More than 7 years of experience in Project Management, Delivery Management, Technical Program Management, or similar leadership positions.

• Demonstrated experience leading the delivery of software, SaaS, e-commerce, or digital product initiatives.

• Extensive experience managing customer-facing projects and directly engaging with external clients.

• Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams including Engineering, Product, Operations, and Business stakeholders.

• Experience managing complex delivery environments involving multiple stakeholders with competing interests.

• Strong knowledge of software development lifecycles, Agile methodologies, and product delivery processes.

• Ability to quickly grasp and understand application functionality, integrations, and technical concepts.

• Proven track record of effectively managing project risks, escalations, dependencies, and shifting priorities.

• Outstanding communication, facilitation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to influence decisions and align teams without direct authority.

• Fluent in Spanish (required).

• Proficient in English communication skills; candidates must be comfortable communicating directly with U.S.-based leadership.

• Experience collaborating with Latin American clients and multicultural teams is highly preferred.

• Previous experience in e-commerce, digital commerce platforms, retail technology, or customer implementation projects is a significant advantage.

• PMP, Agile, Scrum, or related project management certifications are a plus.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Willingness to travel for in-person customer meetings when necessary.

• Working hours should align with U.S. business hours.

• Successful candidates must complete employment verification and background checks, confirming job titles and employment dates with two previous employers.
