Senior Project Engineer – True Capture

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Oversee the technical implementation of TrueCapture projects across various regions.

• Coordinate and manage field commissioning activities in energized settings.

• Direct installation, calibration, and validation procedures.

• Analyze complex data and variables to propose effective and sustainable solutions.

• Lead technical communications with clients and provide expert assistance.

• Facilitate benefit evaluation and issue resolution throughout the product life cycle.

• Represent Nextracker engineering in technical and performance discussions with clients and partners.

• Create, review, and maintain technical documentation, commissioning reports, and compliance records.

• Collaborate with sales, engineering, product, and operations teams to enhance commissioning processes and system performance.

• Evaluate and implement technical methods and criteria to maximize product and project performance.

• Manage tools, materials, and equipment pertinent to the role.

• Support technical and operational risk management.

• Contribute to global standardization by sharing best practices.

• Act as an internal technical reference and assist in the technical development of other professionals.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechatronic, or Industrial Engineering.

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in the commissioning, implementation, or maintenance of industrial systems, ideally in the renewable energy sector.

• Proven track record of leading technical coordination of field activities in energized environments.

• Experience in managing technical interfaces across diverse disciplines and teams.

• Demonstrated capability to work independently on complex issues, with results reviewed post-completion.

• Willingness to travel frequently.

• Extensive and multidisciplinary technical knowledge integrating electrical, mechanical, and mechatronic engineering principles related to solar tracking and intelligent control systems.

• Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong professional judgment in selecting methods, adapting techniques, and assessing solutions.

• Intermediate proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools.

• Advanced proficiency in English and Spanish; Portuguese is an advantage.
