Senior Program Manager – Pharma R&D Digital Transformation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee intricate, multi-year transformation initiatives from inception to execution and adoption.

• Act as the main client-facing program leader and key executive contact.

• Manage program scope, timelines, budgets, risks, dependencies, and governance frameworks.

• Facilitate executive steering committees, stakeholder evaluations, and decision-making sessions.

• Coordinate global, cross-functional teams that encompass business, product, engineering, data, and delivery sectors.

• Lead organizational change management, communication strategies, training, and user adoption efforts.

• Create and uphold executive dashboards, program metrics, and performance reporting tools.

• Foster strong relationships with senior client stakeholders and navigate intricate organizational landscapes.

• Ensure the successful delivery of business value while maintaining high standards of quality and client satisfaction.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline.

• 12+ years of professional experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences, or healthcare sectors.

• 8+ years of program management experience overseeing significant, cross-functional projects.

• Proven track record of delivering enterprise-scale business and technology transformation initiatives.

• Strong comprehension of pharmaceutical R&D, Clinical Development, or corresponding life sciences business operations.

• Demonstrated experience managing global delivery teams and senior stakeholder relationships.

• Outstanding communication, leadership, negotiation, and influencing capabilities.

• Experience in Clinical Development, Clinical Operations, Regulatory Affairs, Medical Affairs, R&D, or similar fields.

• Experience in leading digital transformation, platform implementation, or enterprise technology initiatives.

• Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and contemporary product operating models.

• PMP, PgMP, SAFe, Prosci, or equivalent certification is preferred.

• Executive presence with strong client-facing skills.

• Strategic mindset with excellent execution discipline.

• Robust organizational change management approach.

• Ability to navigate ambiguity and make decisions in complex environments.

• Collaborative leadership style capable of influencing across both business and technology sectors.
