Senior Program Manager, Design

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.

📋 Description

• Oversee comprehensive program management for a design team focused on delivering essential product initiatives.

• Define, plan, execute, and roll out programs that affect Airbnb hosts and guests.

• Collaborate with Design Managers, Directors, and cross-functional leaders on program scope, timelines, objectives, and deliverables.

• Establish operational rhythms within design teams, encompassing communication schedules, resource allocation, and leadership check-ins.

• Assist in the planning and execution of quarterly and annual product launches.

• Ensure that design workstreams are completed with high quality and on schedule.

• Act as a liaison between Design, Engineering, Product Marketing, Business teams, and other cross-functional partners.

• Provide transparency, communication, and risk management throughout the project lifecycle.

• Proactively identify and address challenges, escalate risks, and implement effective solutions.

• Promote the use of design processes and tools while refining workflows to enhance quality and efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in Consulting, Program Management, Product/Project Management, or related disciplines.

• Demonstrated ability to manage and execute impactful design initiatives within large digital product organizations.

• Strong history of navigating uncertainty, structuring effective solutions, and driving projects from inception to launch.

• Strategic thinker capable of balancing long-term vision with immediate execution needs.

• Proven leadership skills in mediation, negotiation, and conflict resolution, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.

• Experience in creating systems and scalable processes where few exist, demonstrating a flexible, solutions-oriented approach.

• A passion for organizational excellence with a keen attention to detail.

• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment.

• A deep understanding of the Product Design process.

• Experience working in cross-functional, product-driven organizations.
