This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada, +1 more country.
• Oversee daily program management activities related to cybersecurity initiatives.
• Propel the implementation of various cybersecurity programs and security functions.
• Create and uphold program plans, identify dependencies, assess risks, address issues, and provide executive-level status updates.
• Align cybersecurity strategy with tactical execution, clarify ownership, and ensure comprehension of technical dependencies and operational modifications.
• Spearhead organizational and operational change management efforts.
• Manage the program lifecycle from defining scope and aligning stakeholders to execution, readiness, and adoption.
• Lead discussions, workshops, and forums for decision-making.
• Establish objectives, milestones, success metrics, and reporting frameworks.
• Recognize technical risks, operational dependencies, resource limitations, and critical decision points.
• Formulate mitigation strategies and escalate issues with informed recommendations.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity leadership, engineering, operations, product, and business stakeholders.
• Monitor actions, deliverables, and accountability across various workstreams.
• Prepare executive communications, presentations, and program updates.
• Evaluate program processes and implement best practices to enhance delivery effectiveness.
• 8+ years of experience in program management.
• Demonstrated success in managing complex, multi-workstream programs throughout their entire lifecycle.
• Proven ability to coordinate and influence stakeholders across diverse organizations and leadership levels.
• Experience overseeing large-scale programs with numerous dependencies and stakeholders.
• Proficient in establishing program KPIs and monitoring measurable outcomes.
• Capability to influence executive stakeholders, foster accountability, and lead cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Comprehensive understanding of program management methodologies, delivery best practices, project documentation, and status reporting standards.
• Exceptional communication, facilitation, and executive presentation skills.
• Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to manage competing priorities and timelines.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity functions, including Cyber Defense Operations, Engineering, Identity & Access Management, Assurance, Governance, Risk, Compliance, vulnerability management, and attack surface management.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Jira, PowerPoint, Power BI, and other project management and reporting tools.
• Experience in developing frameworks for operational readiness, adoption, governance, and change management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to comprehend technical cybersecurity concepts and translate them into business, operational, and adoption outcomes.
