Senior Program Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +8 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee intricate programs, projects, and workstreams to ensure timely delivery, adherence to budget, and fulfillment of stakeholder scope requirements.

• Create and sustain comprehensive program plans, schedules, budgets, deliverables, risk and issue logs, dashboards, OKRs, KPIs, and related tools.

• Utilize project management methodologies and PMO tools to enhance portfolio visibility, delivery tracking, governance, reporting, and alignment.

• Collect, document, and analyze customer, business, technical, data, reporting, and operational requirements.

• Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and decisions across programs and workstreams, escalating with suggested alternatives.

• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and delivery partners to address business challenges and enhance processes, software, technology, data products, and operational capabilities.

• Ensure readiness through implementation planning, documentation, training coordination, deployment validation, and transition activities.

• Conduct data analysis, metrics reporting, process enhancement, and functional systems initiatives.

• Provide leadership to project teams and eliminate obstacles across teams, vendors, dependencies, and milestones.

• Troubleshoot intricate issues, facilitate project completion meetings, and conduct wrap-up and lessons-learned activities.

• Coach and mentor others on project and program management practices, tools, stakeholder communication, and delivery routines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Candidates must reside and work from WA, OR, ID, TX, OH, FL, SC, NC, or IL.

• A B.A. or B.S. degree or equivalent work experience in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Analytics, or a related field.

• 8+ years of experience in project or program management roles with progressively increasing scale, scope, and/or complexity.

• Proven experience leading cross-functional stakeholders, vendors, technology partners, and/or business teams to achieve complex project or program outcomes.

• Familiarity with Agile project methodologies and demonstrated experience in applying them.

• Experience preferred in leading business, IT, digital, data, AI, analytics, reporting, data governance, or operational initiatives.

• Preferred experience with architecture, security, privacy, data governance, or responsible AI practices.

• PMP, PgMP, Agile certification, or equivalent is preferred.

• Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

• Advanced proficiency in MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar project/program management tools.

• Comprehensive understanding of the relevant business landscape, insurance environment, and assigned domain.

• Ability to communicate effectively and informatively with colleagues, customers, leaders, and executives in both technical and non-technical professional language.

• Capability to build relationships and achieve results through influence rather than authority.

• Competency in analyzing, diagnosing, and resolving highly complex unstructured problems across multiple teams.

• Analytical, structured, and data-driven approach, including root cause analysis and metric development.

• Ability to present options, risks, and trade-offs and influence aligned delivery decisions.

• Strong understanding of business processes, technology, digital, data, analytics, reporting, data governance, privacy, security, and AI enablement concepts.
