This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama.
• Collaborate closely with program managers to establish the financial goals and objectives for each program.
• Develop and oversee program budgets.
• Evaluate progress reported in relation to the program baseline.
• Identify risks and opportunities aligned with the program baseline.
• Suggest actions to enhance progress and ensure successful program execution.
• Prepare and deliver financial forecasts, reports, and analyses.
• Work together with functional areas on financial components.
• Administer a program general ledger and oversee program cash flow.
• Create and manage financial forecasts and Estimate at Completion (EACs).
• Supervise subcontractors and evaluate program revenue and costs.
• Assist program managers in recognizing programmatic risks and opportunities that affect program financials.
• Propose cost reduction measures and risk mitigation strategies.
• Oversee financial performance, including Annual Operating Plan (AOP), monthly/quarterly forecasts, and FP&A activities.
• Conduct month-end closings and variance/trend analyses.
• Manage cash and perform inventory analyses.
• Process invoices, manage collections, and minimize unbilled balances.
• Provide EACs, Quarterly Financial Status Reports (QFSRs), monthly and quarterly business reviews (IPR), and AOP.
• Price on-contract growth opportunities.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related field, accompanied by 8 years of relevant program finance experience.
• Proven understanding of various contract types: Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Firm Price Level of Effort (FPLOE), Time & Materials (T&M), Cost Plus, and hybrid contracts.
• Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
• Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM) principles.
• Experience with Firm Fixed Price (FFP) milestone contracts and cash/balance sheet forecasting.
• US citizenship is required.
• Ability to obtain security clearance as necessary.
• Preferred knowledge of Leidos financial systems such as CostPoint, Cognos, Fusion, and Insight.
• Proficient in Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word is preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing and with international business arrangements is preferred.
• Experience with Capital Expenditures (Capex) and inventory accounting is preferred.
