Senior Professional Services Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with existing and prospective clients and partners to incorporate the platform and other SNI tools into enterprise systems and workflows, such as GIS and Asset Management.

• Develop and sustain web applications and custom dashboards for querying, updating, visualizing, analyzing, and mapping geographic data.

• Generate quotes and scopes of work for integration and customization projects.

• Produce user and developer documentation, walkthroughs, and guides for newly introduced features.

• Perform product testing, beta testing, and document software bugs and inconsistencies.

• Create API documentation and contribute to tutorials and user manuals.

• Utilize open source mapping tools, libraries, and scripting languages.

• Assist the product team in managing requirements and developing new product features.

• Maintain regular communication with the team and employ Jira/GitHub to submit and address issues.

• Provide insightful and constructive feedback on the design and development of new product features.

• Proactively identify and report issues, bugs, and regressions.

• Leverage existing software and gems when suitable, and write software in accordance with established conventions and best practices.

• Enhance personal and team skill levels through ongoing learning.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience.

• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

• English proficiency at the C1 level.

• Technical background with the ability to effectively communicate with the technical engineering team.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Excellent teamwork and collaboration abilities.

• Experience in consultation is advantageous and will be highly regarded in this position.

• Familiarity with GIS processes and platforms is a plus.

• Capability to work with open source mapping tools, libraries, and scripting languages, including Python, SQL, PostGIS, GDAL, QGIS, and GeoPandas.
