This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +27 more states.
• Lead the investigation and resolution of intricate, high-impact production incidents.
• Act as an escalation point for production support engineers.
• Facilitate cross-team collaboration during outages.
• Assess system performance and enhance application reliability, scalability, and observability.
• Design and implement monitoring, alerting, and self-healing functionalities.
• Create automation tools for incident response, environment validation, and root cause analysis.
• Manage post-incident reviews, ensure timely documentation, and address systemic issues with development teams.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to members of the production support and engineering teams.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, DevOps, and product managers to refine deployment and support processes.
• Participate in on-call rotations and enhance incident response readiness and tooling.
• Maintain the health and stability of Revecore’s cloud-based enterprise application built with .NET, C#, SQL Server, T-SQL, and Angular, hosted in Azure and on-premises.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.
• Over 5 years of experience in production support.
• In-depth expertise in C# and .NET technologies, with the ability to debug production code and logs.
• Strong database experience, including complex T-SQL queries, performance tuning, and SQL Server internals.
• Advanced experience with Azure services, especially app hosting, monitoring, logging, and databases.
• Proven ability to lead incident response efforts and perform well under pressure.
• Proficient scripting skills, such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities; capable of driving discussions with engineering and business stakeholders.
• Experience with Azure Application Insights, Log Analytics, or other observability platforms.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of ITIL or SRE principles, with experience in establishing support SLAs and metrics.
• Experience in highly regulated or mission-critical environments.
• Must reside in the United States within one of the listed eligible states.
