
Senior Product Marketing Manager, Defense

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create positioning, messaging, and value propositions for defense products and programs.
• Develop competitive intelligence, conduct market analyses, and produce sales enablement materials.
• Convert insights from customers, partners, and the field into messaging frameworks, marketing briefs, and go-to-market assets.
• Collaborate with Marketing Communications to generate content, collateral, product launch materials, and campaign assets.
• Act as the main marketing liaison for defense and commercial technology partners.
• Formulate and implement joint marketing plans that align with partner objectives and Palladyne AI's business goals.
• Oversee partner marketing activities across trade shows, digital marketing, collateral, customer engagements, and industry events.
• Assist in marketing initiatives for international defense partnerships, including customizing messaging and coordinating event participation.
• Produce battle cards, one-pagers, presentations, customer briefs, and various sales enablement tools.
• Work closely with Business Development to grasp customer needs and facilitate field success.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, Business Development, Program Management, and Marketing Communications on go-to-market initiatives.
• Manage multiple priorities while upholding a high standard of quality and execution.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Approximately 5 years of progressive marketing experience, ideally in the defense sector.
• Proven experience in developing positioning, messaging, competitive intelligence, and sales enablement materials for intricate technical products.
• Experience in managing co-marketing initiatives with technology partners.
• Established ability to translate complex technologies into engaging messaging for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Excellent written, verbal, presentation, project management, and organizational abilities.
• Experience working collaboratively across functions with Product, Engineering, Business Development, and Marketing teams.
• Proven success in startup, growth-stage, or similarly agile organizations where ownership and execution are paramount.
• Preferred: Experience in marketing autonomous systems, AI, robotics, UAS, aerospace technologies, mission software, or advanced defense technologies.
• Preferred: Experience supporting defense trade shows, product launches, demonstrations, and industry events.
• Preferred: Knowledge of defense technology partnerships and joint go-to-market strategies.
• Ability to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
• Depending on the nature of the work, the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance may be necessary.
