This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create and implement detailed product marketing strategies for Surgent's offerings and solutions.
• Define product positioning, messaging, value propositions, and differentiation tailored for key audiences and market segments.
• Convert intricate product capabilities into customer-centric benefits and narratives.
• Formulate go-to-market strategies for new products, features, and enhancements.
• Collaborate with Product Management to shape product strategy based on market trends, customer needs, and competitive insights.
• Guide product roadmaps and pricing strategies using market, customer, competitive, and performance data.
• Oversee annual planning and budget management for the vertical.
• Discover opportunities to enhance product adoption, revenue, and customer retention.
• Manage SEO, SEM, email, social media, web, influencer, and affiliate strategies.
• Investigate customer needs, industry trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging opportunities.
• Develop buyer personas and customer journey maps.
• Spearhead product marketing strategies for launches and significant enhancements.
• Design launch plans, messaging frameworks, positioning documents, sales tools, and campaigns.
• Partner with Product, Sales, B2B Marketing, Demand Generation, Content, Creative, and other teams.
• Set launch objectives, KPIs, timelines, and post-launch evaluations.
• Lead a vertical marketing team to create awareness, engagement, qualified leads, and adoption campaigns.
• Direct website messaging, email campaigns, digital advertising, webinars, events, thought leadership, and other initiatives.
• Produce customer-facing content illustrating how UWorld addresses significant audience challenges.
• Track and enhance product marketing KPIs, campaigns, pipeline, adoption, and customer engagement.
• Report performance, insights, and recommendations to Marketing and Executive Leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
• Over 7 years of experience in product marketing, B2B marketing, or a related marketing field.
• Deep understanding of the professional services sector, including buyer decision-making, buying processes, and key stakeholders.
• Capability to manage, mentor, and prioritize tasks for a team of direct reports.
• Proven experience in developing product positioning, messaging, go-to-market strategies, and sales enablement programs.
• Strong analytical abilities with the capacity to convert market and customer data into actionable strategies.
• Familiarity with SEO, SEM, email, graphic design, and social media best practices.
• Proficient in SEO analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEM Rush, or equivalent.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with Product, Sales, Marketing, and Executive Leadership.
• Skilled in managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
