This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Establish metrics and data requirements for each platform integration.
• Identify and document performance metrics specific to platforms along with their calculation methods.
• Create cross-platform measurement logic for consistent performance evaluation.
• Define custom metrics for customers and outline their calculation and data needs.
• Draft technical specifications for mapping metrics across platform APIs, detailing field mapping, refresh schedules, and limitations.
• Validate metrics and data by writing SQL queries, executing scripts, and interacting with APIs.
• Monitor changes in platform APIs and represent measurement requirements during partner and integration discussions.
• Prepare product requirements documents and prioritize the measurement development roadmap.
• Collaborate with product managers for platform partnerships, engineering and data teams, as well as platform partners.
• Report directly to the Sr Director of Product & Engineering.
• Over 5 years of experience in product management, or a related field, with at least 2 years focused on measurement, analytics, or data products.
• Proficient in reading code, reviewing technical designs, and contributing to engineering design reviews.
• Strong SQL proficiency, including multi-table joins, window functions, aggregations, and common table expressions.
• Experience with querying analytical databases like Amazon Redshift, ClickHouse, or Snowflake.
• Familiarity with querying transactional databases such as PostgreSQL or SQL Server.
• Capability to write in Python or a similar programming language.
• Experience working directly with third-party APIs.
• Understanding of OAuth 2.0, including authorization flow, access tokens, refresh tokens, scopes, and token expiration.
• Comfortable using the command line and navigating a shell environment.
• Ability to independently utilize approved AI tools and assess outputs for accuracy.
• Awareness of social-platform content performance metrics, including reach, impressions, views, engagement rates, video completion rates, and audience demographics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Direct experience with significant social platform APIs, such as Meta Graph API, TikTok API, or YouTube Data API (preferred).
• Background in managing external platforms, vendors, or data-provider relationships (preferred).
• Experience in influencer marketing, social media management, or social analytics companies (preferred).
• Familiarity with designing data warehouse schemas (preferred).
• Experience defining or auditing engagement rates or similar calculated metrics (preferred).
