Senior Product Manager, Consumer Payments

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Enhance the payment experience for customers using Affirm.

• Identify payment issues through customer research and data analysis.

• Develop payment solutions that simplify the repayment process.

• Collaborate with Design and Analytics teams from initial discovery to product launch.

• Design and conduct experiments aimed at boosting conversion rates, payment success, and cost efficiency.

• Foster a secure and cost-effective payment processing environment while balancing performance and risk.

• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Finance, Design, and Partnerships to identify opportunities, assess impacts, and establish priorities.

• Lead an ambitious roadmap that prioritizes both customer and business objectives.

• Identify significant product opportunities and communicate strategic plans to senior leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in product management.

• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in utilizing data, experimental outcomes, and customer insights for product decision-making.

• A keen interest in understanding customer behavior and the capability to pinpoint and address experience issues.

• Experience in engaging effectively with engineers regarding system capabilities and trade-offs.

• Proven history of guiding products from discovery through to launch and ongoing iterations.

• Skill in transforming ambiguous or conflicting information into a coherent strategy.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and build trust across Product, Engineering, Finance, Design, and Partnerships.

• Experience in payments, fintech, or e-commerce is advantageous.
