This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Oversee and continually enhance all aspects related to market communication software.
• Prioritize, implement, test, and transition requirements, bug fixes, and enhancements into stable operations.
• Serve as the primary liaison between business teams, IT, and service providers.
• Manage vendors of market communication software, ensuring transparency on priorities, efforts, delivery timelines, and implementation status.
• Take ownership of bug tracking and customer request management.
• Establish requirements and acceptance criteria, coordinate remedial actions, and supervise topics throughout production deployment.
• Coordinate the maintenance and configuration of market communication software, which includes eNet data updates and transmission subscriptions.
• Collaborate with business teams to formulate requirements for new functionalities, automation, and system customizations.
• Evaluate the impact of regulatory changes and coordinate the necessary implementation.
• Manage releases, patches, and hotfixes while ensuring existing processes, interfaces, and customizations are protected through structured testing.
• Guarantee transparency and reporting on operating costs, proposals, and both external and internal efforts.
• Act as the subject-matter expert for market communication software to support operational teams in complex matters.
• Strong understanding of market communication within the energy sector and the processes involved for a metering point operator.
• Capability to convert business requirements into clear system requirements, test cases, and acceptance criteria.
• Experience in bug tracking, managing customer requests, overseeing releases, testing, and ensuring business acceptance.
• Proven experience in managing external service providers while controlling costs and efforts.
• Extensive regulatory knowledge, particularly regarding WiM, GPKE, MaBiS, and relevant EDIFACT processes.
• Excellent familiarity with energy-sector market communication systems, preferably Robotron eCount.
• A structured, reliable, and communicative working style at the intersection of business teams, IT, and service providers.
