Senior Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the comprehensive equipment and terminal product strategy, roadmap, and implementation for Clover, Dejavoo, and Valor.

• Oversee the Priority terminal ecosystem, which includes physical devices, as well as iOS, Android, and web components.

• Perform market research, competitive analysis, and conduct interviews with merchants.

• Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as merchant adoption, feature usage, deployment timelines, and churn reduction.

• Serve as the Product Owner within an Agile/Scrum framework.

• Draft epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

• Lead backlog grooming sessions, sprint planning, and prioritization efforts.

• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create user flows, wireframes, and prototypes.

• Manage integrations with EMV card readers, contactless payment systems, payment protocols, and backend payment gateways.

• Certify terminal peripherals in partnership with external manufacturing partners.

• Work alongside payment operations regarding device functionality and certification.

• Develop documentation, release notes, training materials, and go-to-market resources.

• Act as a tier-3 subject matter expert for complex production issues.

• Collaborate with various teams including engineering, deployment operations, processor and terminal partners, risk management, merchant support, Product Marketing, Sales Enablement, and customer care.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of technical product management experience, particularly in shipping software products within an Agile framework.

• Strong expertise in FinTech, Merchant Acquiring, Credit Card Processing, or the Point of Sale (POS) industry.

• Solid understanding of API integrations, cloud-based architecture, SaaS models, and hardware firmware interactions with cloud software applications.

• Extensive experience with Agile tools like Jira, Confluence, Aha!, or Productboard.

• Proven ability to navigate compliance, risk, and regulatory constraints.

• Proficient in using data analytics tools such as Mixpanel, Pendo, or Tableau.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.

• Previous experience launching or managing POS software for the retail or food and beverage sectors is preferred.

• Knowledge of hardware provisioning and remote device management (MDM) protocols is preferred.

• Familiarity with PCI-DSS and EMV Level 3 certification is preferred.
