This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Develop individual product strategies and formulate pertinent business cases.
• Oversee the complete product lifecycle, from conceptualization through to retirement.
• Identify interdependencies within the broader CDK product lines and ecosystem.
• Advocate for the voice of the customer and market within the product organization.
• Establish user personas and product requirements, translating them into user stories.
• Lead and/or support Epic development efforts.
• Collaborate with the Scrum Master and agile team on backlog management and product requirement trade-offs.
• Convert product vision into prioritized and actionable Features (Epics) and user stories.
• Manage sprint-team backlogs alongside R&D and the Scrum Master, facilitating definition, beta, showcase, and retrospectives.
• Partner with product marketing to craft the product value proposition and outline features/benefits.
• Track and adjust to product performance metrics, including adoption rates, profitability, NPS, and market share growth.
• Cultivate expertise in market trends, user personas, functional, and domain knowledge.
• Prioritize Features (Epics) and user stories based on user and market demands, strategic goals, and business plans.
• Assist in the development of business cases.
• Work collaboratively with other Product Managers to ensure alignment with the overall CDK strategy and deliverables.
• Drive product requirements and engage daily with agile teams.
• Serve as a resource for junior staff members.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or comparable industry experience.
• 3-5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or in Product Management, or similar roles in Enterprise SaaS and full lifecycle management.
• Proficient in Agile software and DevOps methodologies.
• Experience collaborating with globally distributed teams.
• Extensive knowledge in developing Features (Epics) and user stories, managing the end-to-end execution of product releases.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Capability to facilitate customer interactions effectively.
• Ability to listen, consider diverse perspectives, collaborate, and build consensus across cross-functional teams.
• Involvement in creating business cases and aligning requirements with business objectives.
• Proven track record of successful product execution in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
• Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States without current or future employment-based visa sponsorship.
