Senior Product Manager, Ad Formats

📋 Description

• Act as the main product collaborator with sales teams targeting new advertiser categories, such as payment service providers, upper-funnel non-endemic advertisers, and ad technology firms.

• Expand non-endemic advertising into a major revenue stream.

• Collaborate with sales teams focused on savings, in-store promotions, and AI-driven formats.

• Develop 0→1 strategies and oversee execution while ensuring alignment among cross-functional teams throughout Instacart.

• Determine and prioritize incremental investments within the Instacart Ads ecosystem as initiatives evolve.

• Convey trade-offs, advancements, and outcomes to senior stakeholders, including the General Manager of Ads.

• Design new advertising experiences across various user-facing platforms.

• Collaborate with consumer packaged goods (CPGs), retailers, customers, the Online Grocery team, and external technology partners.

• Proven experience in product management for advertising formats, with a deep understanding of user-oriented ad experiences.

• Demonstrated success in launching user-facing products and managing trade-offs between user needs and advertiser interests.

• Experience in managing partnerships and vendors, including external technology service providers.

• Strong skills in stakeholder management across sales, engineering, and cross-functional teams.

• Familiarity with performance advertising products.

• Experience in guiding new products from concept to launch in ambiguous and rapidly changing environments.

• Background in ad technology, retail media, or a closely related field.
