This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Develop and enhance the chat interface and agent workspaces, incorporating streaming protocols, message/run persistence, tool-call and approval user experience, as well as citation rendering.
• Collaborate with the platform team on the application builder, generated toolchain, preview sandbox, and user experience for generation/repair loops.
• Oversee the component and design system utilized across chat, workspaces, and the application builder.
• Create the agent-facing developer experience, which includes command-line interface (CLI), deployment tools, and manifests.
• Manage the complete stack behind features: TypeScript frontend, Node/FastAPI backend-for-frontend, Postgres schema, deployment, and on-call responsibilities.
• Ensure enterprise readiness through accessibility, localization, and audit trails.
• Troubleshoot across product, backend, and platform layers utilizing backend service traces and runtime/Kubernetes logs.
• Over 5 years of extensive, production-level experience with React/TypeScript.
• Practical experience with a streaming protocol from start to finish (SSE or WebSocket), including the ability to debug a raw byte stream.
• True full-stack ownership experience with Node/Fastify or Python/FastAPI.
• Proficient in managing authentication, idempotency, pagination, race conditions, and migrations.
• Experience in enterprise environments with accessibility, handling empty/error states, and localization.
• Regular use of AI coding tools, driven by specifications, with examples of modifying tool outputs.
• Responsibility for instrumentation, evaluations on AI-dependent behavior, cost awareness, and on-call duties.
• Strong expertise in TypeScript (strict), React 19, TanStack Query, Vite, Node/Fastify or Python/FastAPI, Postgres/Redis, and SSE/WebSocket streaming.
• Familiarity with zod-validated wire contracts, sandboxed iframes/CSP/postMessage, Playwright/Vitest, WCAG 2.2 AA guidelines, i18n frameworks, and OIDC/OAuth2 session mechanics.
• Bachelor's Degree; a Master's Degree is an advantage.
• Must currently be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
• Required to travel twice a year for company summits.
• Completion of a written take-home assignment followed by a live two-hour technical session.
