Senior Product Designer – Click UI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the design system in Figma and make design choices that define the appearance and functionality of components within the ClickHouse ecosystem.

• Collaborate directly with Click UI contributors and users to enhance the system and promote the use of components.

• Present designs using wireframes, prototypes, and visual mockups.

• Rapidly iterate based on feedback received.

• Work alongside product managers and engineers as an integrated team member.

• Leverage AI tools to streamline workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and enhance both code and design quality.

• Participate in design feedback sessions with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Champion product quality and user experience.

• Establish design guidelines when necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong foundation in visual design principles and experience in creating and maintaining a design system.

• Proven track record in designing for complex software applications, particularly in B2B SaaS or developer tools.

• Advanced skills in Figma, encompassing components, prototyping, and design system frameworks.

• Frontend development abilities using CSS, React, and TypeScript.

• Comfortable working within a real codebase.

• Experience managing products from start to finish and collaborating directly with developers and product managers.

• Active engagement with AI tools in design, engineering, workflows, or similar fields.

• Ability to thrive in a startup environment with evolving conditions and changing priorities.

• Preferred: experience managing multi-brand design systems or the same design system across various tech stacks.

• Preferred: experience in designing IDEs, data products, or other technical developer tools.

• Preferred: familiarity with AI-assisted workflows, such as Cursor, Copilot, Figma MCP, and v0.

• Preferred: contributions to open source projects or an active presence on GitHub.

• Preferred: experience in a dynamic, globally distributed startup.
