Product Designer, LATAM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Create comprehensive product flows, encompassing information architecture, empty states, error states, permissions, and interactive prototypes.

• Enhance the visual quality of screens that contain dense data.

• Develop and sustain a documented design system using Figma.

• Provide clear, actionable specifications to engineers and collaborate through the launch process, ensuring the final product meets design standards.

• Manage brand and marketing design initiatives, including the website, sales presentations, one-pagers, and social media assets.

• Conduct discovery sessions and usability testing involving product teams, engineering, and customers.

• Take ownership of design for both product and brand within a US B2B SaaS organization.

• Act as the primary design advocate within a streamlined team.

• Collaborate closely with product teams, engineers, and the founders.

• Report directly to the Head of Product.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of in-house product design experience, preferably within the B2B SaaS sector.

• A portfolio showcasing deployed web or SaaS products, emphasizing strong user experience and visual design.

• Proven experience in designing products utilized by a significant user base.

• Familiarity with front-end concepts, particularly reusable UI components and frameworks.

• Regular use of AI tools in design tasks, including ideation, prototyping, and converting designs to code.

• Advanced proficiency in Figma, including component libraries, auto-layout, variables, and prototyping functionalities.

• Ability to work effectively as a generalist in both product and brand design.

• Excellent written English skills and comfort in asynchronous communication.

• Nice to have: Experience in fintech or similar regulated, data-intensive products.

• Nice to have: Background as the first or sole designer within a startup environment.

• Nice to have: Skills in HTML/CSS, Storybook, and Linear.
