Product Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Create user-friendly products from unclear challenges

• Take charge of the design excellence across TextYess products, encompassing the design system, user journeys, and micro-interactions

• Utilize the product as a merchant, collect feedback from customers and customer service, pinpoint redesign chances, and implement fixes on a weekly basis

• Manage projects from inception to completion in close collaboration with engineers

• Develop prototypes using AI tools and submit pull requests directly

• Design interactions between AI agents and merchants, covering human approval, editing, and intervention processes

• Oversee the design system, tools, and team standards

• Report directly to the Head of Product within a compact three-member product team

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in designing software products

• A portfolio showcasing 2–3 completed products, authentic user flows, edge cases, and interactions

• Experience delivering design within a real codebase utilizing AI coding tools such as Claude or Cursor, along with a PR workflow

• Ability to create reusable design patterns and contribute to a design system

• Capability to link design choices to business results

• Proficient in English

• Knowledge of Italian is an advantage

• Engineering skills, AI or agent UX expertise, or relevant side projects are considered a plus

• Must be located in Italy
