This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.
• Take ownership of essential product surfaces from initial concept to functional prototype, including booking flows, scheduling elements, and both team and enterprise interfaces.
• Develop and evaluate working prototypes utilizing tools such as Figma, Claude Code, Cursor, or v0.
• Deliver accessible, production-ready prototypes that incorporate proper semantics, real states, and reusable components.
• Consistently enhance the user interface by identifying gaps, refining components, and introducing new elements to the library.
• Manage design-system tokens, spacing, states, dark mode, and motion aspects.
• Rigorously test architecture with Design Engineering, focusing on data structure, state boundaries, and the distinction between primitives and one-off decisions.
• Lead outcomes from hypotheses and success criteria through to implementation and results evaluation.
• Ensure accessibility by managing keyboard paths, focus, semantics, contrast, and motion preferences.
• Improve empty states, error messaging, loading behaviors, and animations.
• Engage collaboratively with the Head of Product and Design Engineer, welcoming constructive feedback.
• Document the design process through written content, Loom videos, and prototypes.
• Extensive experience in senior-level product design, managing complex and ambiguous product domains from problem definition to launch and ongoing iteration.
• Exceptional craftsmanship and meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficiency in independently creating interactive prototypes in code using HTML, CSS, TypeScript, and React.
• Daily engagement with AI tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, and v0.
• Thorough understanding of web standards and platform primitives.
• Proven experience with design systems, including their construction and maintenance.
• Familiarity with headless primitive composition frameworks such as Base UI, Radix, or similar.
• Comprehensive knowledge of accessibility standards, including WCAG, ARIA, and assistive technologies.
• Understanding of APIs, data models, state management, and design architecture limitations.
• Ability to formulate hypotheses, determine metrics, and analyze data effectively.
• Strong written communication skills.
