Senior Product Designer – App Experience, FTC/Temp-to-Perm

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of significant surfaces and key areas of the ZOE app from initial concept to final delivery.

• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Data Analytics teams within the Core Experience group.

• Transform loosely defined challenges into clear and compelling product experiences.

• Investigate various concepts and directions before finalizing a solution.

• Balance substantial initiatives with targeted enhancements and minor experiments.

• Shape A/B testing strategies, analyze outcomes, and use data to inform future actions.

• Design exceptional native experiences for both iOS and Android platforms.

• Convert behavioral and scientific concepts into straightforward, engaging, and motivational experiences.

• Make scores, trends, and states clear and rewarding for users.

• Prototype concepts to validate assumptions and address inquiries.

• Work alongside engineers during the implementation phase and contribute to the Design System.

• Set expectations, sustain momentum, and keep stakeholders updated.

• Clearly articulate complex problems and design choices.

• Conduct usability tests and translate findings into actionable recommendations.

• Monitor performance post-launch and enhance the experience based on insights gained.

• Elevate design standards, share knowledge, and enhance team practices.

• A strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end consumer native app work.

• Authentic creativity with the ability to produce a diverse array of concepts.

• Energized by ambiguity and comfortable challenging initial ideas.

• Experience in designing for habit or behavior modification.

• Focus on user problems, flows, and behaviors instead of just screens.

• Strong product judgment that balances user needs, business objectives, evidence, and craftsmanship.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage others.

• Capability to independently navigate work from uncertainty to a high-quality delivered experience.

• Low-ego, practical approach with ownership through to completion.

• Utilize AI tools where they can genuinely enhance speed or quality.

• Strong visual and interaction design skills for both iOS and Android platforms.

• Experience with A/B testing, usability testing, and design systems.
