Senior Product Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Establish and promote the foundational aspects of product analytics.

• Provide actionable insights for Go-To-Market (GTM), Finance, Marketing, Product, and Engineering teams regarding how the product is purchased and utilized across Product-Led Growth (PLG) and Sales-Led Growth (SLG) channels.

• Integrate the user journey across various platforms including the Emulator, CLI, VS Code extension, console, documentation site, and the main website.

• Offer a comprehensive view of customer behavior encompassing human users, Continuous Integration (CI), AI agents, and hybrids such as human plus AI.

• Convert intricate datasets into straightforward insights and strategic recommendations that promote measurable actions and enhance product success.

• Comprehend current data flows and collaborate with technical teams to enhance the product analytics vision.

• Generate insights that illustrate customer value proposition and return on investment (ROI) in partnership with customers and client-facing teams.

• Define the product analytics strategy, data tools, and AI-driven methodologies at LocalStack.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in a data analytics role with a significant emphasis on product analytics.

• Proven experience in modeling a unified system, demonstrating architectural level thinking.

• Strong proficiency in complex SQL.

• Ideally familiar with programming languages such as Python.

• Experience with web and product analytics tools such as Posthog, GA4, Segment, RudderStack, Heap, Amplitude, Contentsquare, or similar.

• Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code) to rapidly prototype and iterate through analysis, data modeling, instrumentation, visualization, and code development.
