This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Engineering, and User Research as a data-driven partner.
• Examine customer discovery concerning chefs, meals, cuisines, dietary preferences, and pricing; assess assortment, variety, personalization, and ordering patterns.
• Trace the customer journey from acquisition through first orders, repeat orders, and long-term retention; pinpoint friction points and categorize customers.
• Define and assess hypotheses, metrics, guardrails, sample sizes, and holdout groups for product modifications and interventions.
• Evaluate diverse effects and uncertainties; advise on whether to launch, refine, or discontinue initiatives.
• Employ suitable observational techniques when randomized testing isn't feasible and articulate any limitations.
• Assess product modifications in terms of order rates, churn, revenue per customer, discounts, chef involvement, and unit economics.
• Investigate friction in subscriptions, delivery details, account management, and support pathways.
• Define and document product metrics, cohorts, event tracking, and dashboards; ensure the accuracy of instrumentation and behavioral data.
• Develop dashboards for product teams to analyze results, discover patterns, and track post-launch performance.
• Prioritize significant unknowns, design analyses and tests, communicate insights, and review findings with fellow analysts.
• Around 5–7 years of experience in product analytics or a closely related analytical role, with responsibility for complex analyses and impact on product decisions; equivalent experience and proven results are also acceptable.
• Working knowledge of AI tools for analysis, coding, research synthesis, documentation, and repeatable processes; capability to verify outputs and manage company and customer data responsibly.
• Proficient in SQL and experienced in analyzing large, intricate behavioral datasets; ability to validate data and produce clear, reusable analyses.
• Solid understanding of product metrics, funnel and cohort analysis, segmentation, and dynamics of marketplaces or subscriptions.
• Experience in designing and interpreting A/B tests, including holdouts, guardrails, uncertainties, and trade-offs; sound judgment regarding causal claims.
• Capacity to transform ambiguous product challenges into focused learning strategies, work autonomously, and convey actionable recommendations.
• Effective data storytelling and collaborative partnership with Product, Design, Engineering, User Research, and business teams.
• Ability to create impactful, user-friendly dashboards in any tool that address crucial product inquiries and facilitate reliable self-service analysis.
• Competence in evaluating AI-driven product experiences through success metrics, experiments, user feedback, and quality and safety assessments.
• Interest in food, chefs, customer behavior, and the operational constraints of a local marketplace.
