This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Identify, research, and develop narratives across various products, customer experiences, employee stories, leadership initiatives, and brand projects.
• Transform intricate financial wellness, wealth management, and retirement subjects into relatable stories.
• Generate and present ideas for video series, podcasts, executive storytelling, customer showcases, and branded content initiatives.
• Manage the entire multimedia production process from initial concept to final publication.
• Conduct research, interviews, story development, scriptwriting, editorial planning, and content evaluations.
• Organize production timelines, talent preparation, shooting logistics, recording sessions, and post-production processes.
• Collaborate with internal creative teams as well as external production partners.
• Supervise editing workflows, fact-checking, stakeholder approvals, and final content delivery.
• Produce regular video and podcast content featuring executives, customers, industry specialists, and subject matter experts.
• Prepare hosts, executives, and on-camera talent through interview coaching, scripting assistance, and storytelling guidance.
• Shape narratives for both long-form and short-form formats.
• Create platform-specific adaptations and promotional materials for social media and digital channels.
• Utilize journalistic standards to ensure authentic and credible storytelling.
• Guarantee that content adheres to editorial, legal, compliance, branding, and quality guidelines.
• Keep abreast of storytelling trends, audience behaviors, podcast formats, creator-led media, and distribution methods.
• Align content strategies with organizational goals and audience expectations.
• Support ongoing content franchises, executive-led storytelling series, and thought leadership initiatives.
• Contribute as an individual contributor without formal leadership responsibilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Media Production, Marketing, English, Film, Broadcasting, or a related discipline is required.
• 5–10+ years of experience in brand storytelling, editorial content creation, journalism, podcasting, video production, documentary-style content development, or a related field.
• Proven experience in producing video and/or podcast content from concept inception to post-production.
• Exceptional writing and storytelling abilities, including script development, editorial planning, narrative structure, and interview content generation.
• Demonstrated capability to interview executives, customers, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders.
• Strong editorial judgment.
• Ability to distill complex topics into clear and audience-relevant content.
• Experience in managing multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills across creative, marketing, communications, legal, and executive teams.
• Familiarity with Adobe Premiere, Descript, Riverside, Final Cut Pro, or similar software.
• Understanding of social-first storytelling principles and multi-platform content distribution strategies.
• Willingness to appear on camera when required by business needs.
• Strong organizational, communication, and project management capabilities.
• Background in journalism, documentary filmmaking, editorial media, branded content, or related storytelling fields.
• Candidates must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; employment visa sponsorship is not available, including CPT/OPT.
