This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +3 more states.
• Perform data collection and analysis to aid process improvement programs and projects.
• Lead intricate process enhancement initiatives and projects that align with business division objectives.
• Create and review project deliverables, value-stream maps, and statistical analyses.
• Oversee business process analysts within a project team setting.
• Formulate business cases utilizing ROI models that correspond with departmental goals.
• Collaborate with process and subject matter experts to devise solutions that enhance productivity, efficiency, process performance, and customer experience.
• Report and communicate outcomes of process improvements to divisions.
• Influence business partners and small teams without direct authority.
• Serve as a change agent and coach to facilitate and maintain improvements.
• Evaluate change readiness and prepare plans for stakeholder engagement.
• Direct analyses conducted by process improvement analysts.
• Implement Lean, DMAIC, and Design for Six Sigma methodologies.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
• Create project plans, monitor performance, and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
• Develop actionable solutions for intricate business challenges.
• Coach and guide Lean and Green Belt candidates towards certification.
• Generate internal and external content for leadership presentations.
• Ensure uniform deployment of common solutions across divisions and businesses.
• Identify and present new project opportunities to leadership.
• Develop and share best practices for process improvement.
• Collaborate with Finance and Business to establish and monitor project metrics.
• Create control plans and track key performance and improvement metrics.
• Deliver operational enhancements and financial benefits to achieve annual objectives.
• Engage in BPI organization-building activities and promote the BPI brand.
• Act as a mentor for business staff seeking Green Lean and Green Belt certifications.
• Occasional travel may be necessary to various Horizon sites.
• High School Diploma/GED is required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in business process improvement or process redesign is required.
• Lean Six Sigma Green-level certification from an accredited academic or quality institution (e.g., Universities, American Society for Quality).
• Commitment to obtain Horizon Black Belt certification within two years of hire.
• Experience in the healthcare industry is preferred.
• Experience in a multi-divisional corporate environment is desired.
• Understanding of change management challenges associated with process improvement.
• Proven skills in project management and process improvement, including strong knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proficient with Minitab and/or other statistical software.
• Must have strong proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
• Ability to lead and guide the work of others.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to establish strong working relationships with others.
• Capability to gather, synthesize, and analyze data to draw logical conclusions.
• Solid project management experience.
• Well-organized and results-oriented individual.
