Senior Private Cloud Consultant – Proxmox, Kubernetes

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Take charge of and oversee cloud projects independently.

• Deliver hands-on engineering support and specialized consulting services to clients.

• Construct and manage Kubernetes clusters for container orchestration.

• Develop and execute CI/CD pipelines.

• Create and oversee Infrastructure-as-Code templates utilizing Terraform.

• Design and implement secure, scalable private cloud architectures using Proxmox and Rancher, and where applicable, AWS/Azure.

• Ensure that cloud solutions adhere to security and compliance standards.

• Formulate security and monitoring strategies.

• Proactively diagnose and enhance existing cloud infrastructures.

• When applicable, manage service tickets as part of cloud operations, with no night or on-call emergency shifts required.

• When applicable, mentor, guide, and onboard a junior consultant.

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of professional experience in cloud consulting, particularly with Proxmox and Kubernetes, preferably at the enterprise level.

• Strong expertise in Linux.

• Comprehensive understanding of Kubernetes, Proxmox, CI/CD, Terraform, and other cloud technologies and tools.

• Experience with AWS, Azure, and Rancher is a plus.

• Passion for mentoring a junior cloud consultant and sharing knowledge when applicable.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, along with the ability to confidently engage with clients.

• Dependability.

• Fluent in German (C2) and English (C1).
