This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
• Install, configure, validate, maintain, troubleshoot, optimize, and provide support for FormFactor semiconductor probe card systems, accessories, and related testing interface products.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance at customer locations.
• Finalize system acceptance in accordance with established protocols.
• Offer technical assistance via onsite visits, phone calls, email, and remote diagnostic tools.
• Prepare service reports, work orders, installation documents, and field activity summaries.
• Act as the primary technical liaison for designated customer accounts and strategic programs.
• Identify and resolve intricate probe card performance issues, including hardware, electrical, mechanical, and process-related challenges.
• Lead both onsite and remote troubleshooting efforts, ensuring containment, corrective actions, and sustainable solutions.
• Evaluate field performance metrics and suggest product or process enhancements.
• Assist with field investigations, product returns, reliability issues, and the introduction of new products.
• Work collaboratively with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Reliability, Program Management, Sales, Product Management, and Customer Support teams.
• Convey technical findings, risks, corrective measures, and recovery plans clearly.
• Provide technical advice and mentorship to Field Service Engineers and support staff.
• Deliver technical training to Field Service Engineers, customers, and end users.
• Contribute to the development of service procedures, troubleshooting manuals, and technical documentation.
• Ensure adherence to quality and safety standards, escalating issues when necessary.
• A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years with a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 3 years of experience; or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
