Field Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.

📋 Description

• Provide exceptional customer service and address issues at client locations.

• Foster positive relationships with customers by professionally managing complaints and inquiries.

• Educate customers on BD Parata pharmacy automation products, covering operating procedures and daily maintenance.

• Address service requests promptly within the established SLA timeframes.

• Work in tandem with regional and national service team members to tackle complex technical challenges.

• Occasionally support the Product Implementation Team during new automation installations.

• Record issues and resolutions in Salesforce Field Service Lightning.

• Offer regional field support and services to pharmacies across various environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma is required.

• 3-5 years of experience in a field service position is preferred.

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems, including Windows 2000, XP, Windows 7, Windows 10, and Windows 11.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is necessary.

• In-depth understanding of basic computer networking.

• Capability to utilize Windows tools to gather network/PC information.

• Skills to set up and configure routers and switches.

• Ability to locate and modify configuration and XML files.

• Familiarity with ghosting and re-imaging processes.

• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.

• Competence in using standard hand tools for complex subsystem disassembly and reassembly.

• Proficient in the use of digital multi-meters and voltage/amperage testers.

• Willingness to travel regionally, including overnight stays.

• Availability for weekend, holiday, and occasional overtime shifts.

• Ability to frequently carry, lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds.

• Capability to stand for 10-12 hour shifts when necessary.

• Daily car travel averaging approximately four hours is expected.

• Comfort with occasional air travel is essential.
