Field Service Technician – Installation & Repair, Windows and Doors

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Execute basic field repairs, such as hardware and glass replacements, operational adjustments, and product inspections.

• Perform on-site assessments to evaluate product performance and determine repair requirements.

• Adhere to safety protocols for glass handling, working at heights, and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

• Maintain and inspect safety equipment and first aid supplies.

• Safely operate company vehicles while complying with local traffic regulations.

• Carry out routine maintenance on vehicles.

• Manage inventory of tools and supplies.

• Communicate repair issues and resolutions to clients.

• Travel daily within the designated territory; overnight travel may be necessary based on the territory.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.

• Must possess a valid driver’s license.

• Ability to pass an MVR check successfully.

• Preferred 1–2 years of experience in general construction or building material installation.

• Preferred 1–2 years of experience in fenestration manufacturing or installation.

• Basic computer proficiency (Outlook & CRM).

• Skilled in the use of hand and power tools.

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

• Detail-oriented with a capacity for executing precise repairs and inspections.

• Excellent customer service capabilities.

• Capacity to lift and carry up to 50 lbs consistently.

• Ability to climb ladders and work at elevated heights.

• Effective task prioritization and time management skills.

• Team-oriented, flexible, and dedicated to safety and quality.

• Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
