Electrical Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design and prototype evaluation boards for new product lines.

• Develop reinforcement learning environments to simulate and assess hardware performance.

• Architect ASIC designs, which include floorplanning, schematic capture, and verification processes.

• Implement FPGA solutions utilizing VHDL/Verilog and oversee synthesis workflows.

• Conduct RTL design reviews while upholding coding standards.

• Optimize power, area, and timing within silicon implementations.

• Integrate hardware with embedded software and carry out system-level testing.

• Collaborate with hardware validation and testing teams to create test plans and scripts.

• Prepare documentation for design specifications, test reports, and release notes.

• Mentor junior engineers and disseminate best practices throughout the engineering team.

• Develop and implement electronic solutions, ensuring they are scalable and manufacturable.

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives while staying updated on industry trends.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

• Minimum of 1 year of practical experience in ASIC and FPGA design.

• Proficient in HDL languages (Verilog, VHDL) and RTL verification techniques.

• Familiar with reinforcement learning frameworks and their application in hardware.

• Strong grasp of digital design principles, signal integrity, and power management.

• Experience with synthesis, placement, routing, and timing analysis tools.

• Capable of designing and debugging evaluation boards and signal trace methodologies.

• Excellent communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.

• Proven problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced, iterative development setting.
