This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +2 more states.
• Drive purposeful architecture for the Supply Chain Design & Orchestration, Supply Chain Execution, and Integrated Demand Planning initiatives.
• Ensure the integrity of technical architecture and design within the Order Fulfillment portfolio and related products.
• Utilize cloud-based applications and platform integrations that prioritize quality and performance.
• Confirm that development objects adhere to established technology patterns, principles, and quality expectations.
• Assess and optimize technology to enhance efficiency, simplify processes, and reduce total cost of ownership.
• Establish architectural frameworks, viewpoints, organizational standards, and policies.
• Identify system interfaces, business capability requirements, architectural vulnerabilities, and opportunities for improvement.
• Empower business and IT leaders to reconcile operational needs with long-term strategic goals.
• Mentor and guide less experienced personnel and facilitate knowledge transfer.
• Provide roadmaps, patterns, principles, standards, and best practices.
• Evaluate Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) solutions against in-house development, and assess Build vs. Buy vs. Rent options.
• Direct complex cross-functional proofs of concept, pilots, and digital product initiatives.
• Collaborate with application architects and delivery teams to ensure compliance with enterprise architecture practices.
• Lead or provide guidance on strategic merger and acquisition endeavors and their integration.
• Spearhead transformation initiatives and manage organizational change.
• Support research-driven decisions by outlining options, advantages, disadvantages, and recommendations.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, System Analysis, or a related field.
• 10 to 15 years of experience in IT and business/industry, encompassing solution architecture, application design and deployment, systems lifecycle management, and infrastructure planning and operations.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in system integration and implementation.
• Profound understanding of Enterprise Architecture techniques and patterns.
• Experience in aligning business capabilities with technology and guiding technical teams and solution architects.
• Familiarity with various technologies, possessing strong techno-functional and business domain expertise.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Capacity to lead and foster innovation using AI.
• Superior verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate across teams and influence stakeholders effectively.
• Capability to clearly and persuasively present business challenges, strategies, and technical information.
• Knowledge of software development techniques, programming languages, and application programming interfaces.
• General awareness of operating systems, databases, application servers, web servers, and integration technologies.
• Understanding of cloud-native application development utilizing microservices and event-driven architecture.
• Familiarity with the software development lifecycle, business process modeling, application design patterns, techno/functional documentation, and Agile product-oriented methodologies.
