This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, implement, and oversee a comprehensive cloud-based IT environment utilizing SaaS platforms.
• Enhance access controls, device security, risk mitigation, and overall posture.
• Discover and execute automation opportunities within IT operations.
• Act as a technical leader and mentor within the IT department.
• Drive cross-functional IT projects from inception to completion.
• Partner with stakeholders to provide scalable IT solutions.
• Assess, recommend, and integrate new tools and technologies.
• Create and develop AI-driven agents and bots for automating IT workflows.
• Generate and maintain documentation, runbooks, and standards.
• Manage and enhance email and collaboration platforms, including Google Workspace and Proofpoint.
• Serve as a senior escalation point, conducting root cause analysis and implementing enduring solutions.
• Allocate up to 20% of time addressing escalated support tickets and facilitating new-hire onboarding.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT Engineering, Systems Administration, or a similar role in a cloud-centric environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing and supporting SaaS-based IT infrastructures at scale.
• A security-first mindset, with practical experience in applying security best practices across IT systems and processes.
• Experience in managing and supporting macOS and Windows endpoints within a modern device management framework.
• Profound knowledge in Google Workspace administration, encompassing Gmail/email routing, security, and deliverability.
• Practical experience managing email security platforms such as Proofpoint or similar.
• Familiarity with administering and integrating Slack, Okta, Jamf, Intune, and other endpoint management solutions.
• Experience with Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) or contemporary network security methodologies.
• Capability to automate workflows utilizing scripting or automation tools such as Python, Bash, and APIs.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and root cause analysis abilities.
• Background in mentoring junior team members and providing technical leadership.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in managing IT asset lifecycle operations, including staging, storage, and distribution of end-user hardware.
• Knowledge of Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Okta, Jamf, and Intune.
• Experience with AI orchestration or agent platforms is advantageous.
• Familiarity with Proofpoint is a bonus.
• Competitive base salary ranging from $91,000 to $161,000 annually.
