This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Deliver comprehensive support to the Head of Pricing in areas such as product pricing, pricing governance, fair value assessments, commercial deal management, and profitability analysis.
• Function as the second-in-command, delegating tasks to the Head of Pricing when necessary.
• Act as a primary contact for Finance, Risk, Product, Strategy, Commercial, and Operations teams.
• Create and sustain the firm's pricing strategy and framework.
• Identify opportunities for enhancements and foster continuous improvement within the pricing function.
• Ensure that pricing policies, methodologies, and controls are appropriate and in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Supply content for governance forums like the Customer Outcomes Committee and Cash Interest Share Forum.
• Assist in product-level pricing reviews and provide recommendations.
• Contribute to proposition development through pricing analysis and commercial modeling.
• Process, monitor, and report on firm-wide discounts and deals for Distribution.
• Offer subject matter expertise regarding business performance, profitability for the firm and customers, and pricing effectiveness.
• Evaluate the impact of pricing on customer outcomes, profitability, and growth objectives.
• Conduct commercial and financial analyses to aid strategic decision-making.
• Identify strategies to improve deal performance, prevent income erosion, promote growth, and enhance margins.
• Support the design and execution of migration pricing strategies for customers and advisers transitioning from the Nucleus Wrap and Curtis Banks platforms to the Nucleus platform.
• Engage actively in strategic thinking, detailed analysis, and execution without the assistance of a dedicated team.
• Proven experience in commercial finance, profitability analysis, or related analytical fields.
• Advanced skills in analytical and financial modeling.
• Capability to interpret complex data and convert findings into actionable commercial strategies.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders across multiple projects.
• Proficiency in independently identifying and resolving issues, formulating sound recommendations, managing stakeholders, and leveraging expertise to achieve results.
• Understanding of pricing strategies, pricing governance, and commercial decision-making processes.
• Experience in developing and presenting recommendations to senior management.
• Resilience, with the capacity to work autonomously and take initiative.
• Background in financial services or other regulated environments.
• Knowledge of Consumer Duty, Fair Value Assessments, and customer outcome requirements.
• Familiarity with pricing systems, product management platforms, or transformation programs.
• Strong comprehension of platform pricing structures, including wrapper fees, SIPP charges, custody fees, and cash interest policies.
• Experience managing cross-functional projects and initiatives related to business change.
• Relevant professional qualification in Finance, Analytics, Economics, or a related field (desirable).
