Senior Power BI Developer, Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create, sustain, and enhance interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations.

• Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to convert intricate datasets and business requirements into actionable insights.

• Design and uphold data models while utilizing DAX to fulfill analytical and reporting needs.

• Establish connections and integrate data from various sources.

• Enhance report and dashboard performance while ensuring data accuracy, integrity, security, and compliance.

• Examine procurement and operational data to uncover trends, risks, issues, and opportunities.

• Assist in workload tracking, executive and leadership dashboards, measurement frameworks, and reporting processes.

• Contribute to forecasting, predictive analysis, data storytelling, and the development of business cases when applicable.

• Aid in documentation, governance of dashboards, reporting-request processes, and the cataloging of automations, reports, and dashboards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen or a Lawful Permanent Resident with at least three consecutive years of U.S. residency from the date of legal entry as an LPR.

• Eligibility to obtain and maintain IRS staff-like access is required.

• Successful completion of the necessary Moderate Risk background investigation and security screening process is mandatory.

• Must fulfill applicable IRS personnel-security requirements, including fingerprinting, security training, and related screening criteria.

• Proven professional experience in support of U.S. Federal Government programs or federal government clients.

• At least 5 years of experience working with Microsoft Power BI.

• Practical experience in developing Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations.

• Strong background in data modeling and DAX.

• Experience in working with multiple data sources and complex datasets.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Capacity to communicate analytical findings and convert data into actionable business insights.
