Senior PL/SQL Systems Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, maintain, and enhance PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, triggers, and views.

• Investigate, resolve, and avert issues in database processes.

• Develop and optimize SQL queries to boost application performance.

• Conduct corrective and evolutionary maintenance of enterprise systems.

• Assist in analyzing technical requirements and estimating efforts for requested tasks.

• Collaborate effectively with development, infrastructure, QA, and business teams.

• Create technical documentation and engage in code review processes.

• Aid in solution testing, deployment, and maintenance activities.

• Serve as a PL/SQL Systems Analyst in software development, documentation and report preparation, production control, and payment method establishment.

• Define system specifications and implement development solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience with Oracle PL/SQL.

• In-depth understanding of SQL, including complex queries, joins, subqueries, and data manipulation.

• Familiarity with procedures, functions, packages, triggers, and views.

• Experience in data modeling and integration.

• Understanding of performance tuning, execution plans, and indexing.

• Proficient with version control systems like Git.

• Ability to interpret requirements and collaborate effectively.

• Preferred: experience with Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, or APEX.

• Preferred: knowledge of ETL, APIs, and system integration.

• Preferred: experience in high-volume, mission-critical settings.

• Preferred: understanding of Agile methodologies.

• Preferred: experience within the financial services, insurance, retail, healthcare, or industrial sectors.
