Senior Platform Engineer – Kubernetes

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create and deploy scalable hybrid multi-cloud Kubernetes platform solutions.

• Enhance and uphold the high reliability of extensive infrastructure platform systems.

• Assess and incorporate open-source technologies into current system workflows.

• Offer insights and technical guidance for the ongoing development of Kubernetes infrastructure services.

• Mentor less-experienced engineers to foster collaborative technical decision-making for infrastructure selections.

• Assist in the global expansion of the Falcon platform.

• Periodically undergo and successfully complete additional background and fingerprint checks as required by government clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must qualify for CJIS clearance, which necessitates U.S. citizenship or Green Card/permanent resident status.

• Over 5 years of experience with Kubernetes, including managing clusters with thousands of nodes.

• Proficiency with Prometheus.

• Proficiency with Thanos.

• Proficiency with Alertmanager.

• Proficiency with Golang.

• Experience in large-scale, critical business Linux environments.

• Experience operating within AWS, GCP, and OCI cloud environments.

• Experience in managing custom data centers.

• Familiarity with and capability to handle on-call shifts.

• Demonstrated experience using AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency, and drive business results.

• Experience in writing Kubernetes operators (preferred).

• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with local and remote teams (preferred).

• Strong verbal and written communication skills (preferred).

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or Engineering (preferred).
