Senior Platform Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, create, test, implement, and sustain platform features utilized by engineering teams.

• Develop scalable and maintainable software primarily using C# and .NET Core.

• Enhance and expand platform infrastructure through software engineering and automation.

• Oversee and improve Kubernetes-based environments, including automation for Helm Chart deployments.

• Utilize GitOps practices to enhance deployment automation, consistency, and reliability.

• Construct scalable, resilient, and high-performance distributed systems and microservice solutions.

• Diagnose application and infrastructure issues across distributed environments.

• Collaborate with engineering teams and stakeholders to convert requirements into technical solutions.

• Perform code reviews, contribute to engineering best practices, and mentor fellow engineers.

• Enhance observability, performance testing, deployment strategies, and operational excellence.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of professional software development experience, preferably with expertise in C# and .NET Core.

• Experience in building and supporting distributed systems and microservice architectures.

• Practical experience with Kubernetes, containerization, and modern application deployment methodologies.

• Strong fundamentals in software engineering and a comprehensive understanding of the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Excellent troubleshooting abilities in complex distributed environments.

• Knowledge of canary and blue-green deployment strategies.

• Familiarity with GitOps principles and automation for infrastructure and application deployments.

• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or GCP.

• Familiarity with observability platforms such as Datadog and the ELK Stack.

• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

• A gaming license may be required as a condition of employment.
