Senior Platform Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and develop services that drive industry-leading machine learning products.

• Create automation tools that enable scientists to deploy models efficiently.

• Assist in the maintenance and enhancement of production data systems.

• Engage in code reviews and manage pull requests.

• Collaborate with various teams responsible for distinct aspects of machine learning data at CrowdStrike.

• Work closely with product managers, data scientists, and other engineers to develop both internal and external services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.

• Over 7 years of pertinent work experience.

• Strong understanding of some (or all) of the following: AWS, Python, Golang, Kafka, Airflow, Docker, Linux, K8, etc., for building pipelines.

• Experience handling large datasets.

• Solid knowledge of distributed system design and its associated trade-offs.

• Familiarity with CI/CD methodologies and best practices.

• Experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes-based development and orchestration.

• Proven track record of leveraging AI technologies to enhance decision-making, optimize workflows and processes, improve efficiency, and drive business outcomes.

• Bonus: Experience in creating automated/scalable infrastructure and pipelines for teams.

• Bonus: Contributions to the open-source community (e.g., GitHub, Stack Overflow, blogging).

• Bonus: Previous experience with Kubernetes, relational databases, or key-value stores.

• Bonus: Familiarity with the Big Data ecosystem, such as Spark.

• Bonus: Prior experience with AWS Batch, EMR, Glue, and SageMaker.

• Bonus: Experience in cybersecurity or intelligence domains.
