Senior Platform Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Participate in designing solutions for both business and technical challenges at the platform level.

• Lead the horizontal platform consultant community and ensure consistency across the enterprise.

• Provide mentorship to the platform consultant community and assist in the technical strategy for a large organization.

• Ensure that product designs align with local and enterprise standards and patterns.

• Collaborate with senior leaders in technology, architecture, and business to align strategic objectives with tactical requirements.

• Define and implement data strategy and analytics requirements for Insurance Pricing and Underwriting.

• Oversee platform priorities, value, and timelines to achieve measurable business results.

• Perform stakeholder and risk analyses and address challenges for high-priority projects.

• Influence discovery and framing sessions throughout the ecosystem.

• Contribute to the overarching technical architecture landscape.

• Act as a liaison between technical and business leaders, aligning business goals with technology roadmaps.

• Impact engineering backlogs and practices.

• Leverage industry standards while engaging with emerging technologies.

• Collaborate as a thought leader to influence technical decisions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of experience is preferred.

• Strong expertise in the Insurance Domain and technical knowledge.

• Subject matter expertise in products and platforms.

• Proficient in defining and executing data strategy and analytics requirements for Insurance Pricing and Underwriting.

• Extensive knowledge in platform architecture, technical architecture, technical strategy, product design, solutions design, and strategic direction.

• A background investigation is required.

• Must have a dedicated private workspace that is free from distractions when working remotely.

• Reliable internet connection with a minimum speed of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload is required.
