Senior Perception Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Implement the complete software development life cycle (SDLC).

• Create well-structured, testable code.

• Integrate perception software components into comprehensive software systems.

• Develop software verification strategies and quality assurance protocols.

• Document and update software functionality as needed.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing systems.

• Remain aligned with project timelines and industry standards.

• Deploy cutting-edge perception DNN models onto embedded platforms.

• Analyze and optimize systems using both real and synthetic benchmark data.

• Design, develop, and commercialize NVIDIA autonomous driving solutions.

• Create top-tier perception solutions while enhancing component robustness, efficiency, and reusability.

• Collaborate with perception engineers and researchers.

⛳️ Requirements

• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or related fields (or equivalent experience).

• Over 12 years of demonstrated experience in embedded platforms for real-time applications as a Software Engineer or Software Developer.

• Strong programming expertise in C++ and Python.

• Familiarity with test-driven development methodologies.

• Experience with a systematic, design-oriented approach to software development.

• Proficient in software engineering tools.

• Capability to document requirements and specifications effectively.

• Experience with CUDA / SIMD (preferred).

• Practical experience deploying DNN models to embedded platforms for real-time applications (preferred).

• Hands-on experience utilizing simulated/synthetic data to enhance machine learning model accuracy (preferred).

• Familiarity with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch (preferred).

• Experience in integration and testing on actual hardware/robotic platforms (preferred).
