Senior PCI QSA Consultant, Japanese Speaker

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan.

📋 Description

• Conduct PCI DSS assessments, which include both on-site and remote audits.

• Assess the design and operational effectiveness of security controls.

• Review client documentation, systems, and processes to ensure compliance readiness.

• Document audit processes, findings, and recommendations thoroughly.

• Identify compliance gaps and offer remediation advice.

• Create clear and structured audit reports and deliverables.

• Maintain ongoing communication with clients throughout the engagement process.

• Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and audit methodologies.

• Assist clients in understanding compliance requirements and the subsequent steps.

• Stay updated on PCI DSS standards and emerging security practices.

• Deliver audit engagements punctually and with high quality.

• Keep accurate, complete, and audit-ready documentation.

• Provide clear and actionable remediation recommendations.

• Exhibit ownership of assigned engagements and deliverables.

• Sustain effective communication with clients and internal teams.

• Follow internal methodologies and quality standards consistently.

• Continuously improve technical and compliance knowledge.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in information security.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in PCI DSS assessments (internal, external, or as a QSA).

• Experience in conducting security audits or compliance engagements.

• Active QSA certification is mandatory.

• Additional certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or CISM are advantageous.

• Strong understanding of PCI DSS and compliance requirements.

• Solid grasp of network security, segmentation, access controls, and encryption.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• High attention to detail and a strong commitment to documentation.

• Capability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.

• Strong client-facing skills and relationship management expertise.

• Full professional fluency in Japanese, both spoken and written.

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems/MIS, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
