This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Lead intricate cases, especially those involving pension consolidation, drawdown, and multiple-pot situations, prior to presenting advice to clients.
• Ensure that plans generated by the engine contain accurate, comprehensive, and clear suitability reports, detailing objectives, recommendations, risks, costs, and rationale.
• Conduct pre-meeting case evaluations with Advisors and pinpoint any issues in fact finds or plans.
• Assist Advisors during the quality assurance review of engine-generated plans.
• Create and uphold suitability report templates and language for the advice engine, ensuring disclosures align with House Rules and governance protocols.
• Take ownership of the daily suitability report quality and provide feedback on evolving standards.
• Work in collaboration with the Head of Proposition and the Advisor Management System product team to enhance workflows, fact-find prompts, and evidence capture.
• Transform findings from QA, audits, and compliance into team training and case coaching sessions.
• Mentor and develop less experienced Paraplanners through case studies, feedback, and support with qualifications.
• Assist in defining standards for paraplanning within a digital-first framework.
• Manage workload distribution among the Paraplanner team alongside the Head of Proposition, balancing complexity, service level agreements, and capacity.
• Contribute to discussions surrounding advice policy and House Rules.
• Support the Risk & Compliance team with monitoring, root-cause analysis, and remediation efforts.
• Serve as the technical point of contact for Money Guides and Financial Advisers on complex inquiries and guidance/advice boundaries.
• Collaborate with Advisors on cases and post-meeting documentation, as well as with the engine and AMS product teams on tooling improvements.
• Engage in QA huddles, suitability report workshops, and team learning sessions.
• Extensive paraplanning experience within a regulated advice firm, preferably with exposure to pension consolidation and drawdown cases.
• Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (Level 4), with a desire to continue pursuing further qualifications.
• Strong technical expertise in UK pensions, ISAs, investment products, and their respective tax treatments.
• High-quality written standards; suitability reports must be clear and comprehensible to clients.
• Experience in coaching, mentoring, or leading other paraplanners.
• Proficient in working with structured data, advice software, and digital case files.
• AF7 or equivalent advanced pension qualifications (preferred).
• Chartered status or actively working towards it (preferred).
• Experience in contributing to or managing templates, checklists, or advice logic in a scaled-advice or robo environment (preferred).
