Senior Oracle Fusion Middleware, Integration Cloud Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee the evaluation, architecture, and modernization of a comprehensive Oracle integration environment.

• Assess current Oracle SOA Suite, Oracle Service Bus, Fusion Middleware, and EDI/B2B integrations.

• Create phased migration strategies and roadmaps towards Oracle Integration Cloud.

• Execute current-state evaluations of enterprise integration platforms, services, interfaces, and middleware settings.

• Specify target-state integration architecture utilizing Oracle Integration Cloud.

• Set integration standards, architectural principles, governance models, and best practices.

• Deliver executive-level recommendations, risk evaluations, and modernization strategies.

• Catalog and analyze integrations, interfaces, APIs, services, and middleware assets.

• Conduct complexity assessments and migration feasibility studies.

• Define migration patterns, conversion methodologies, and implementation sequencing.

• Create effort estimates, resource plans, and implementation strategies.

• Design enterprise integration solutions leveraging OIC features, adapters, orchestration, mappings, APIs, and connectivity agents.

• Establish security architecture, monitoring, exception management, and operational support frameworks.

• Lead discovery workshops, architecture reviews, and design sessions.

• Collaborate with application, infrastructure, security, and business teams.

• Present architectural recommendations and migration plans to executive stakeholders.

• Offer technical leadership to integration consultants and development teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise integration architecture and middleware technologies.

• 10+ years of experience in Oracle integration architecture.

• 5+ years of practical experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).

• Demonstrated experience in leading Oracle integration modernization and migration projects.

• Experience in conducting architecture assessments and formulating migration roadmaps.

• Strong expertise with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Oracle SOA Suite, Oracle Service Bus (OSB), Oracle Fusion Middleware (FMW), and Oracle WebLogic Server.

• Proficient in Oracle API and integration technologies.

• Familiarity with EDI and B2B integration architectures.

• Experience with EDIFACT and/or ANSI X12 standards.

• Knowledge of trading partner integrations.

• Proficient in B2B message transformation and orchestration.

• Experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, and Order Management integration processes.

• Familiarity with REST and SOAP Web Services.

• Proficient in XML, JSON, XSLT, and XPath.

• Experience with API Management.

• Knowledge of event-driven architectures.

• Familiarity with hybrid cloud integration patterns.

• Experience with enterprise application integration.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.

• Oracle Cloud certification in OIC or related Oracle Integration technologies preferred, but not mandatory.

• U.S. Citizenship, Green Card, GC-EAD, or H4-EAD required.

• Comfortable with working on W2.

• Willingness to travel domestically up to 25%–50% as needed.
