This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create and implement enterprise-level Oracle data architecture solutions that support critical business applications.
• Design and sustain conceptual, logical, and physical data models for enterprise systems.
• Architect resilient Oracle database environments utilizing RAC, Exadata, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), and hybrid cloud solutions.
• Develop and enhance enterprise data integration solutions using ODI, Oracle GoldenGate, APIs, and ETL/ELT methodologies.
• Set and uphold enterprise data architecture standards, governance policies, development practices, and best practices.
• Oversee performance tuning, database optimization, capacity planning, and troubleshooting in high-volume Oracle environments.
• Create architecture documentation, technical designs, Architecture Decision Records (ADRs), reference architectures, and implementation guidance.
• Spearhead modernization efforts involving legacy Oracle Forms, Reports, Designer applications, and cloud migration strategies.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, project teams, and technical leadership to convert business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Ensure enterprise adherence to data governance, security, privacy, auditing, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Offer technical leadership, mentoring, and architectural oversight to development and database engineering teams.
• Engage in architecture reviews, design governance, and enterprise technology planning initiatives.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field (or a combination of education and experience that is equivalent).
• At least 10 years of experience in designing, developing, and deploying Oracle database solutions within enterprise settings.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Lead Data Architect, Enterprise Data Architect, or Solution Architect.
• In-depth knowledge of Oracle Database, PL/SQL, SQL optimization, packages, procedures, triggers, views, and performance tuning.
• Experience with Oracle RAC, partitioning, high availability, disaster recovery, and optimizing enterprise databases.
• Proficient in designing enterprise data models and applying best practices for data architecture.
• Familiarity with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), Oracle GoldenGate, or similar enterprise data integration tools.
• Experience in architecting Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or hybrid cloud environments.
• Background in implementing enterprise data governance, security, auditing, and data quality frameworks.
• Proven experience in producing technical architecture documentation, solution designs, and architectural standards.
• Experience working in Agile or SAFe software development environments.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional technical teams and communicate effectively with executives, stakeholders, and development teams.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Must fulfill eligibility criteria for access to classified information and be capable of obtaining a government-granted security clearance.
