Senior Oncology Account Specialist – Breast Cancer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Promote Pfizer’s range of products to healthcare providers and specialists.

• Provide education to healthcare community members on the proper use of Pfizer products.

• Engage with accounts and organized customers to enhance patients’ experiences with Pfizer offerings and improve overall patient care quality.

• Elevate Pfizer’s brand presence among high-value target customers.

• Connect insightful evaluations of accounts and business environments with a thorough understanding of Pfizer products and resources.

• Advocate for a diverse array of products within the portfolio.

• Generate demand for Pfizer’s products within assigned accounts.

• Create detailed territory, account, and customer plans to meet established objectives.

• Sustain relationships across institutions.

• Navigate challenges to access hard-to-reach healthcare providers and customers.

• Build and nurture relationships with key opinion leaders and establish lasting connections with priority customers.

• Evaluate the needs of target physicians and accounts, addressing them with suitable resources.

• Engage, influence, and support customers throughout the sales process.

• Operate effectively in a matrix environment and utilize multiple resources to fulfill customer requirements and achieve results.

• Travel domestically and stay overnight as required.


⛳️ Requirements

• BA/BS Degree from an accredited institution OR an associate’s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience; OR a high school diploma (or equivalent) with 10+ years of pertinent experience.

• Willingness to travel domestically and stay overnight as needed.

• A valid U.S. driver’s license and a driving record that complies with company standards.

• Any DUI/DWI or other impaired driving citation within the last 7 years will disqualify you from employment.

• Minimum of 4 years in Pharmaceutical Sales or 4 years of experience as an Oncology Healthcare Professional (HCP) working with key Oncology thought leaders or influential customers in hospitals, large group practices, or managed care organizations.

• Proven history of success and achievement in prior Pharmaceutical Sales or HCP roles.

• Exceptional ability to learn and communicate technical and scientific information about products and disease management to diverse customers.

• High degree of business acumen demonstrated.

• Proficient in using complex digital applications and adaptable to Pfizer’s long-term technology model.

• Experience in Breast Cancer Therapeutic Areas is highly preferred.

• Background in reaching out to institutions, NCI centers, and Key Opinion Leaders.

• Extensive knowledge of disease states, therapeutic areas, and products.

• Comprehensive understanding of relevant customers and markets, including prescribers, HCPs, institutions, and organizations.

• Skills in strategic account selling and management.

• Capability to develop comprehensive territory, account, and customer plans.

• Ability to cultivate relationships with KOLs and maintain enduring connections with top-priority customers.

• Superior skills in selling, technical knowledge, and relationship building.

• Proficient in engaging, influencing, and supporting customers throughout the sales process.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities.

• Capacity to swiftly learn and adapt to new methods in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to thrive in a matrix environment and leverage multiple resources.

• Candidates must have authorization to work in the U.S. for any employer.

• Permanent work authorization in the United States is required.

• U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available currently or in the future.
