Senior Node.js Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Develop robust backend services and APIs for enterprise-level SaaS applications.

• Create scalable and secure Node.js microservices and integrations within the Salesforce ecosystem.

• Design modern front-end experiences utilizing Vue.js and TypeScript.

• Establish tooling for CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, and infrastructure to enhance developer productivity.

• Execute real-time data processing and implement event-driven architectures for sensitive enterprise data at scale.

• Collaborate directly with engineering leadership, product managers, and the CEO.

• Take ownership of significant architectural components and deliver production code utilized by enterprise clients.

• Manage systems comprehensively and contribute to product development, platform enhancements, and delivery efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of professional Node.js development experience in production settings.

• In-depth expertise in asynchronous programming, event loops, streams, and the Node.js runtime.

• Familiarity with backpressure, setImmediate, process.nextTick, and unhandled promise rejections.

• Extensive experience with TypeScript in production-level codebases.

• Strong knowledge of RESTful API architecture, OAuth 2.0, JWT, and best practices for API security.

• Demonstrated experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases, including query optimization and data modeling.

• Awareness of database schema performance implications at scale.

• Proficient in Git workflows, conducting code reviews, and utilizing automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, along with CI/CD pipelines.

• Understanding of Docker, cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, and principles of infrastructure-as-code.

• A commitment to a long-term full-time position; not seeking short-term contracts.

• Salesforce development experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, or Salesforce API integrations (highly preferred).

• Experience in building or contributing to Salesforce ISV (AppExchange) products (highly preferred).

• Background in Vue.js front-end development, particularly with Vue 3 Composition API and state management (highly preferred).

• Experience in B2B SaaS targeting enterprise customers with stringent compliance requirements (highly preferred).

• Familiarity with DevOps/DevSecOps toolchains and practices within the Salesforce ecosystem (highly preferred).
