Senior .NET Backend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the engineering and technical integrity of mission-critical .NET backends, ensuring high availability, security, and scalability across distributed 3-tier and microservices architectures.

• Design, construct, and enhance robust RESTful API integrations.

• Assume responsibility for SQL database environments, create clean schemas, develop complex stored procedures, and carry out performance tuning.

• Reverse-engineer legacy components, update outdated codebases, and implement clean architecture standards.

• Perform thorough code reviews.

• Offer technical guidance to mid-level and junior engineers.

• Create production-ready system documentation.

• Work closely with U.S. client stakeholders and cross-functional teams to convert business goals into resilient technical solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in backend engineering.

• Demonstrated ability to architect, deploy, and maintain production-grade backend systems in dynamic software environments.

• Advanced expertise in C#, .NET Core / .NET 5+, and ASP.NET Web API.

• Practical experience with 3-tier and microservices architectures.

• Strong background in managing SQL databases, including indexing strategies, complex query optimization, and schema design for data-intensive platforms.

• Solid experience with GCP or similar cloud-native platforms.

• Familiarity with automated CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and Git workflows.

• Previous experience in nearshore/offshore engagement models within rapidly growing, client-facing startup environments.

• Advanced verbal and written English communication skills.

• Ability to lead architectural discussions with North American engineering leadership confidently.
